$750,000 to Nonprofits Strengthening Democracy in Indiana

Hello Community –

To play a meaningful role in helping Hoosiers feel safe, informed, and civically connected during the 2026 election season and beyond, we know the nonpartisan nonprofits driving this work need support now. That’s why we’re directing $750,000 to 10 organizations strengthening democracy in Indiana. While we’ll look to voter turnout as a barometer of impact, our long-term goal is to help people become more engaged in their communities and feel empowered to take action.

Here’s what else is ahead in today’s newsletter:

  • Do you have a plan to vote? Resources and information for the upcoming primary election

  • Arts for Learning Celebrates 65 Years with a New Location (& you’re invited!)

  • Miriam Acevedo Davis Recognized with Be Better Award, honoring the legacy of the late civic leader Jim Morris

As always, we invite you to reply directly to this email with any questions, feedback, or ideas.
