Glick Philanthropies awarded more than $3.23 million to nonprofit organizations providing community members with opportunities for stability and growth.
These grants were directed to 41 organizations serving Hoosiers across Glick Philanthropies’ focus areas, and 92 organizations through the Glick Community Relief Fund.
Indiana Diaper Bank and New Shoe Day—two of the nonprofit organizations receiving multi-year general operating support—provide diapers, wipes, and shoes to community members through various distribution centers, including the Glick Resource HUB at Carriage House Glendale. The HUB provides a centralized location where resident service coordinators for Glick Housing Foundation apartment communities throughout central Indiana can access basic needs resources for community members, also including food items, personal hygiene products, and bus passes.
“For community members to feel stable, it’s essential they have access to resources that help them meet their basic needs,” said Ben Grande, director of philanthropy at Glick Philanthropies. “Innovative distribution models like the HUB make it possible for nonprofit organizations to serve more people in need and more easily meet them where they are.”

- React: The G.U.N. Project, an original play to reshape youth gun culture in partnership with Asante Art Institute, and other original programming that reacts to social issues of the world

- A Longer Table: Increasing access to scratch-made meals in school cafeterias
- Aspire Higher Foundation: Building back the food system in the Northwest Landing neighborhood
- Catholic Charities Indianapolis: Providing emergency housing and comprehensive social services for families experiencing homelessness through the Holy Family Shelter
- Common Ground at Faith: Increasing capacity to provide multiple services under one roof
- Community Harvest Food Bank: Alleviating hunger in Northeast Indiana*
- Dare to Care: Hunger relief across Kentuckiana*
- Foster Success: Empowering self-sufficiency for young adults transitioning out of foster care
- Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana: Food packaging center and food acquisition fund*

Increasing Equitable Economic Mobility
- Bridge Project: Continued support for the BIRTH Fund, a guaranteed income and wraparound support program for new mothers and their babies in need in Indianapolis*
- Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis: Supporting families with minor children experiencing housing instability across Central Indiana through a housing-first, family-centered model that keeps families together
- Heartland Scholar House: Filling cost gaps in housing, early childhood education, and healthcare so single parents can continue to pursue higher education opportunities without disruption
Closing Education Achievement Gaps
- Bottom Line: Commitment to support the Indiana Demonstration Project, providing intensive, individualized academic and career coaching to high school juniors and seniors
- Stand for Children Indiana: Partnering with parents to support their children’s education journey and to become strong advocates
Additionally, Glick Philanthropies will direct up to $500,000 toward targeted early learning strategies in 2026.

In addition to the grants listed above, Glick Philanthropies directed $704,700 to 92 additional nonprofit organizations across nine states through the Glick Community Relief Fund, an apartment property-nominated grant program focused on increasing healthy food access, expanding accessible transportation, connecting community members to utility assistance, and prioritizing mental health support. In the program’s 11 years, more than $6 million has been awarded to nearly 320 nonprofit organizations.
Earlier this year, Glick Philanthropies announced grants totaling $750,000 to organizations strengthening democracy in Indiana.
